Chevron Foyer

com Here is my first Design Sponge DIY.  This is a Herringbone or Chevron pattern wall.  I originally picked this pumpkin wall color 5 years ago, I needed an update but did not want to repaint the entire foyer.

I divided the wall into equal quarters and taped horizontally from top to bottom.  I randomly picked lines to be 10 inches thick and taped diagonally from each 10 inch point.  Once the wall was fully taped I painted the clear gloss paint alternating with the white.  This was super easy.  The longest step was just all the taping which I completed  around naps and bedtimes This took 2 days total to complete, 1 day to tape and 1 day to paint.  I am still not sure if I'll love this forever, but it's good for now.
